Lantower Makes First San Antonio-Area Buy

Lantower Residential entered the San Antonio market with its acquisition of the 312-unit, 327 Sunset multifamily complex in Alamo Heights, TX. The Dallas-based buyer paid the property’s developer, Georgia-based Flournoy Cos., an estimated $55 million to purchase the property. Ryan Epstein, Will Caruth and Mike Miller with Berkadia secured the buyer in the transaction.

Canadian REIT buys 2nd Orlando apartment complex for $53.3M

A Canadian real estate investment trust has snagged a second apartment complex in the Waterford Lakes area of east Orlando. Toronto, Ontario-based Waterford Multifamily Orlando LP, an entity related to H&R Real Estate Investment Trust, bought the 400-unit Century Waterford Lakes apartments at 12101 Fountainbrook Blvd. for $53.3 million, or about $133,125 per unit, Orange County records showed.
